Is my material kept confidential? Absolutely. We take this very seriously and have safeguards in place to keep your information secure. If you require, we are happy to execute a client-provided NDA for any project.

What format of audio do you accept?  Our transcription software handles an extensive list of audio and video formats with mp3, M4A, wav, wma, dss, mp4, mov, avi, MPEG being some of the formats we regularly use.

How long does it take to receive the completed transcripts? Our team can turn things around in 24 hours depending on size of project. Your business is very important to us and we work with our clients to complete all projects within your deadline.

What format do the transcripts come in? Every client is unique and requires different formats. We work with you to create a format that is well organized and efficient. All transcripts are typed in Word format and sent via e-mail or Dropbox upon completion. For larger projects, we send transcripts out as soon as each is completed, that way you are able to start your analysis right away.

Do you specialize in a specific industry? We have worked extensively in the market research, business, academia and legal industries. Our breadth of knowledge expands over a multitude of topics and industries. We recommend clients provide us with as much detail as possible for their projects, however, we do research topics beforehand and during so that we are able to provide the most accurate transcripts for you.

How do I send my files to you? We offer an FTP service located on our website where you can upload up to 5 audio files or documents at a time or you can use DropBox.

Can you work with accents and difficult audio? Yes. We have protocols in place for difficult audio. We do our best to capture everything being said. We transcribe audio word for word, however there are instances when it is difficult to understand the speaker due to resasons beyond our control such as background noise, low volume, mumbling, simultaneous dialogue or thick foreign accents. In those instances, they are thoroughly checked and reviewed and if we are unable to capture what is being said we use inaudible along with a time stamp at which it occurs.
